ALEX MITCHELL

Alex Mitchell is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, actor and podcaster who has become one of the most exciting and distinctive new voices on the UK comedy circuit.

Just eighteen months after his first open mic, Alex reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent. The following year he was a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year competition.

Since then he has become a regular at many of the UK’s biggest comedy venues, performing in clubs and theatres including The Stand, Glee, Up the Creek, Backyard and Komedia Brighton, and at corporate events across the country, with leading venues praising his writing, noting that “every line has something hilarious in it.” His writing was further recognised when he won Joke of the Festival at the Nottingham Comedy Festival in 2025
