DIVIDES are an award winning 5 piece rock band based in Glasgow - made up of former members of well-received Scottish bands featuring vocalist Tasha Cowie, drummer David Maxwell, guitarists David Lennon, Colin Horn and bassist Andy Cook.
The band played their debut show in April 2014 at Oran Mor and since then have played across the UK. The band have also had media coverage from BBC Radio 1 Introducing, XFM, BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio, Rocksound, Kerrang! and Scuzz TV ranging from their debut single "Not all those who wander are lost" to their 2015 debut EP release "Anywhere & Nowhere" and its first single "Falsehood". In 2015 the band were picked to play at Scotland’s biggest festival T in the Park as part of the T-Break competition celebrating it’s 20th year as well as winning “Best Metal” at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.
