Ruts DC

One of the defining bands of the UK punk movement, Ruts DC carved out a unique legacy by fusing the raw power of punk rock with heavy dub, reggae, and ska rhythms.

Known for classic anthems like "Babylon's Burning", "Jah War", and "Staring At The Rude Boys", the band has continued to tour and release new material, including their recent album Counterculture?. Still fronted by original members Segs Jennings and Dave Ruffy, alongside guitarist Leigh Heggarty, their live shows remain as sharp and politically conscious as ever.

Catch them live at The Hairy Dog in Derby on Thursday 12 November 2026, with support from Rivalry.
