Nothing feels better than knowing you can take care of yourself mentally, financially and physically. However, the physical part is not just exercise. Being able to protect yourself in all situations is a confidence booster, can reassure you when heading out, will improve your self-discipline and teaches you self-respect. All whilst improving your physical conditioning and warrior spirit!
Sian Knight has been taking the self-defence classes for Skills for Life for the last two years. She is a competent trainer in Martial Arts and assists in a local Karate gym in Swansea.
Please wear clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and some water to keep hydrated!
