These days, we’re all looking for the “Next Big Thing” and we think we’ve found a hot contender for the title, in the form of Billy Bibby & the Wry Smiles.

Billy Bibby & The Wry Smiles is a new musical venture fronted by singer-songwriter and former Catfish and the Bottlemen lead guitarist Billy Bibby. The band have spent their summer, not only releasing their latest single, the ludicrously catchy “Are You Ready?”, but also hitting the festival circuit hard, playing at Kendal Calling, Blackthorn Music Festival and Coastline Festival to name just a few. With a style that shifts from commercial, sing-a-long anthems through to folk and country inspired, Frank Turner-esque tunes, Billy and co are a real treat and hotly tipped!

With big things indisputably on the horizon for Billy and his band and plenty of influential eyes on him, it’s a very exciting time for a very exciting new artist.
