Shamrocks Festival 2016 - St Patricks Parade Day Family Friendly Festival,

Sunday 13th March, 10am - 8pm

Zellg Car Park - Digbeth High Street - Digbeth - Birmingham

Birmingham is famous for its St Patrick’s Day Parade festivities and every year the party just keeps getting bigger and better! This year Alfie Bird & The Oobleck, The Irish Centre & Zellig Events come together to go even BIGGER & BETTER than last year's great success, when Shamrock's Festival 2016 takes over the large Zellig Car Park on Digbeth High Street, dead opposite the one and only Irish Centre!

Shamrocks Festival offers something for everyone with an array of entertainment, food, drink, live music, art, DJs and chill-out area for all the family! The festival takes place at Zellig Car Park and in Alfie Bird & The Oobleck at the Custard Factory, Digbeth High Street.

This year we have 3 brilliant music stages which include two outdoor marquee spaces taking on a great variation of talent, with something of quality for everyone.

Shamrocks Street - A purpose built street with gourmet streetfood traders and fun family activities. This street creates the link between all of the music stages.

The Shamrocks Stage- the main stage, featuring a quality line up of Trad Irish Folk bands. Celtic Affair, The Father Teds, Ciaran Clifford & The Highdrive, BlackJack Davey and Connor & Finn Keogh, with more to be announced

The Glastonbrummy Stage in The Oobleck will feature tribute bands to the irish greats, such as The Pogues, U2, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher and more to be announced

The Brum/Irish Connection stage presents the next generation of irish influence upon the Birmingham live music scene, featuring some of the best young up and coming talent currently plying their trade. Shaun Walsh & The Plagiarists, Dirty Old Folkers, Bad Trip, The Hungry Ghosts and more to be announced.

The Cider Garden will be a purpose built garden, with plenty of seating with the hope the sun may make it out for the day. Expect top quality street food traders, top quality cider and plenty of activity for all ages.
