Calling all Sunny Coast singles aged 30+ ✨

We’re super excited to be bringing you our second Matchbox event at Slipstream Brewing Social House! Unfamiliar with Matchbox? Basically, it’s super fun software that uses relationship science to find your most suitable match at the party! 

The algorithm has matched more than half a million people across 40 countries and optimises for long-term compatibility, based on values – but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click. 🫶🏼

HOW MATCHBOX WORKS:

• Upon arrival, you’ll take a questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel-Prize winning economics.
• After mingling with the whole group and getting clues throughout the night to break you into smaller groups, matches are revealed!
• Must arrive BEFORE 7:15PM to join AI Matching.

HOW THE NIGHT WILL GO DOWN:

• 6:30pm – the event begins and everyone starts mingling
• 7:15pm – doors close, the algorithm begins computing matches
• 7:30-8:30pm – a series of clues are released
• 8:30pm – matches revealed

KEEP IN MIND:

• The matching process is highly intentional – come with an open mind!
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

FYI – We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. If this happens you will receive a free ticket to a future event of your choice.
