We’re taking over the Library Bar at The Watson for a special evening of matchmaking courtesy of AI. The cosy upstairs bar features panoramic views of the city and it's own curated cocktail list, the perfect accompaniment to some offline flirting. 

Join us for an evening of cocktails, mingling, and meeting your most compatible match!

**Matching is by Matchbox**. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.

*How it works:*

– Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.

– The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.

– After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

– If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.

– At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

**Event Structure:**
Please be on time

– 7:00pm—the event begins on time.

– 8:30pm—doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches

– 9:00pm—a series of clues

– 10:00pm—matches revealed

– 11:00pm—event concludes

**Q: What if I don’t get a match?**

A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.

As this is a rooftop party, smoking will also be permitted at the event.
