The Official Students’ Union UCL Nightlife Wristband

Over the course of 2 weeks the Union will be hosting our annual club nights to bring UCL students together in London's most prestigious nightclubs!

The Official UCL Welcome events always sell out; and so, as we did last year, we have made it easier to get your hands on tickets by creating a Nightlife Wristband.

The wristband will grant you entry to the biggest UCL nightlife club events over the Welcome Fortnight

Of course you can still buy single tickets if you would like to pick and choose which will all be available from www.fatsoma.com/studentsunionucl - but if you want the FULL Freshers’ Experience, here is your opportunity!!!

With the Nightlife Wristband, you also get some extra perks such as VIP access at super-club fabric and A private queue for Nightlife Wristband holders only at Ministry of Sound.

The Nightlife Wristband will also save you money; not only by being cheaper than individual tickets in total, but by avoiding the booking fees that come with individual tickets!

When you make your purchase, you’ll be sent an email confirmation with a ticket and order number. Bring it to one of the Union receptions (25 Gordon Street or Lewis’s Building Gower Street) weekdays 9am-5pm between 18th September and 5th  October to collect your wristband. 

You can also collect your wristband on Saturday September 23rd & Sunday September 24th from the same locations (1pm-7pm)

Fiesta is a Union trademark opening night for all students starting at UCL in September 2017. This is the first of the big Welcome Festival club nights and is always a sell out, not least because KOKO is probably the prettiest venue in London and they really know how to throw a party!



Monday September 25th: MTV Beach Party
Venue: Scala, Kings Cross

For your first day in London, we are taking you back to the summer with our huge beach party at another of London's iconic clubbing spaces, Scala in Kings Cross.

Hosted by Club MTV as part of their nation-wide university tour, this event will feature live DJ sets from some of Club MTV's best residents and a whole host of surprises!


Thursday September 28th:  Freshers’ Rave

Like we have done many years before, UCL are taking over officially the world’s second best nightspot for a rave to remember on Thursday September 28th.

This will be craziest club night in our calendar, featuring the legendary production Fabric nightclub has to offer; alongside 7 DJ's playing everything from house, garage, trap & electro to hip-hop, grime and all things bass!

Hosted at the world famous Ministry of Sound, the annual Freshers’ Ball is the most popular date in the calendar. Each year tickets sell out in record breaking time, but there's need to question it as the event features Celebrity Guests & International Artists. The ball also features live entertainment from dancers. fire breathers, Pyrotechnics, Lasers, Co2 Cannons and much more!This event sells out in advance every year!


We strongly encourage you to buy your tickets or this wristband early to avoid disappointment.

Entry is restricted to those with a passport or photo driver’s licence. Please note only these two forms of ID will be accepted and they must be originals. Student ID is NOT valid ID. No exceptions will be made so please do not forget to bring ID. We strongly recommend that international students bring their passports. No ID, no entry.
