Hello Fellow Creatives,

Are you, or do you know, a writer and/or performer who is itching to get up in front of an audience and share their work in progress? Well, it sounds like you or they, need a Scratch Night. ‘Scratch on Toast,’ which will be back for its next portion on Friday evening, 29th May 2026.

The recipe: Scratch on Toast dishes up an evening of acts from a variety of disciplines, deliciously combined by a single-word prompt and with the option to receive live feedback. There are eight spots available, and anything from sketches, poetry, music, dance, one-act plays, monologues, stand-up, and improv is welcome - anywhere from two to fifteen minutes in length.

Our next prompt will be: Renaissance.

Challenge yourselves and your audience. Whether you want to dust off an older piece and revisit it through a new lens, create something completely new, or share something already in the works that’s starving for an audience - we want to help you serve it up. The prompt is open to interpretation, so feel free to stretch and push the limits of the word in any direction you see fit. You have full artistic license.

SoT 6 will be held at Home Studio London, 6C Thane Works, London, N7 7NU, on 29th May 2026.
