VERVE | Triple Bill

VERVE presents a striking programme of three new dance works from outstanding artists.

Award-winning choreographer and creator of Extended Play, Jamaal Burkmar creates a new work exploring complex physicality and exquisite timing.

In work by Faye Tan of National Dance Company Wales, the dancers become intoxicated by rhythm and sensation, resulting in moments of catharsis and pure joy.

Lastly, acclaimed Spanish duo KOR’SIA combine striking visuals with a cinematic feel to produce an ambitious, large-scale work.

---

VERVE comprises eighteen dancers, trained at some of the world’s leading conservatoires. Each year the company commissions choreographers from all over the world to create an artistically distinct, physically daring, and engaging programme of dance work.

VERVE is the internationally-touring postgraduate company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance.

ADMISSION: Pay What You Can.

Pay What You Can is an ‘honesty box’ for the theatre. We and the artists will continue to programme and produce high quality events and ask you to pay what you can afford.

As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you paying between £5 and £10. We also understand people's income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.

Please note all bookings and donations come with a 50p booking fee.

Please note that all tickets are for unallocated seating.

Please note: checking the Wheelchair User question will also reserve a free seat for an essential companion.

If you require limited mobility access (step-free), please let a member of staff know upon arrival.

Accessibility is extremely important to us at the New Adelphi Theatre. If you have any accessibility requirements, please email Hannah at the box office at h.c.briggs@salford.ac.uk.

When you arrive, the Box Office only needs to take the ticketholder’s name to check you in, however we can also scan any printed ticket or e-ticket you may present.
