On Sunday 10th May, Bomba hosts an evening dedicated to the songs of Nick Drake - a songwriter whose work has only grown in weight and meaning with time.

Recorded between 1969 and 1972, his music is subtle, intimate and deeply human, built on intricate guitar playing and lyrics that sit with you long after the final note.

Keith James is widely regarded as the most trusted interpreter of Nick Drake’s catalogue. He has spent decades performing these songs with care, accuracy and deep understanding. His performances are known for offering genuine insight into the music rather than simply recreating it.

Keith is now joined by Richie Cotterill who plays his flutes to orchestrate mesmerising colours within these rich harmonic landscapes; improvising impressionistic textures to illuminate their magical highs and mysterious shadows.
