Likened in sound already to Bear’s Den, Fleet Foxes and The Frames, Dear Friends are exactly that - a close knit group who have spent the last 5 years inside an old converted mill in a cold, grey industrial town making warmth and light with music - honing their sound into a new kind of orchestral Americana and folk-tinged pop. Over the past 2 years Dear Friends’ live shows have gained them many admirers. They use a brass section to take the sound to another level – adding to the majesty of their spine-tingling crescendos, anthemic melodies, and trademark 4-part harmonies. Now Dear Friends are returning with a new single and a spring / summer tour to build on the success of their debut album Tales From the Den, which received national radio coverage in 2016 on BBC introducing and BBC Radio 2.
