One of the most exciting comics to come out of America, Russell Hicks is branded one of the 'Top Six Comics to Watch' by LA's Stand Up Talk Magazine. He has appeared on LA based panel show Direct TV's 'What's News?' and is a regular guest on hit podcasts such as Talkin' Sh*t with Eddie Ifft.

Headlining the nationally acclaimed student circuit in the United States, Russell regularly takes his hour long solo shows across the country to the biggest universities. Prolific and consistently delivering quality new work, audience members are often compelled to return for two nights in a row. Fast and loose, no two shows are ever the same. If you’ve ever seen one of his shows, then you’ll know exactly what we are talking about.

He’s played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry and soon will be one himself, his razor sharp wit, and fully off the cuff sets are legendary and envied by hundreds of acts across the national circuit. In 2018 he’ll be debuting his new show GARY TROke Karaoke at festivals in the UK and Australia.

With a set already at the infamous Komedia in Brighton behind him and Carl is starting to make waves on the UK comedy scene, his observational comedy is on form he‘s is a friendly, happy comedian who finds fun and confusion in the everyday things in life. We loved what we saw and am sure you will as well.

Mike has been performing comedy for five years, regularly opening, mc’ing and Headlining at all the bigs clubs across the UK, Winner of the Fosters Souht Coast Comedian of the Year 2014, A Finalist in the Amused Moose Laugh Off 2016 and a semi finalist in both the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2013 & the So You Think Your Funny in 2012.

A fresh young act, that has great observational comedy routines and making big waves in the UK comedy scene, we’re excited to have him at Grinstock this year.
