This summer the Bassline Cartel team are brining you a very special takeover event with the heavyweights Second to None Music!

Second to None Music are responsible for some huge releases in the UK Bass scene and receive regular airplay on stations such as BBC 1Xtra, Radio 1, Rinse FM and Kiss FM. Since the labels first release in 2010 they have gained huge support from some of the biggest artists in the game such as, Skream, Benga, Hatcha, Logan Sama, Crissy Criss, Plastician and many more!

With a track arsenal as powerful as this we are sure this event will be pure vibes from start to finish!!

Vital Techniques are the versatile bass duo behind the label Second To None Music. With a number of huge releases on their own imprint as well as others, including Mungo's Hi Fi's 'Scrub A Dub' and Squarewave's label 'New World Audio', they are rapidly becoming a name in everyone's ear's. Radio and DJ support for the pair has stretched far and wide, and now with several appearances at Outlook Festival under their belt... as well as label takeover events up and down the Country, they show no sign of slowing down the pace. Expect pure fire when this pair jump behind the decks to bring you a unique blend of Garage, UK Bass, Grime and more!! We are HYPED…

For those who don't know… B Squared is a bass heavy collaboration made up of none other than Mikey B and Krissi B!! Forming the alias late last year, they have released some huge tracks together, with their current ‘Never 2 Busy’ EP charting at number 1 on the Juno Downloads UKG chart!! Both of these artists have been in the game for many years now, crafting their own unique sounds, and are both deservingly very strong contenders in the UK Bass scene! This set is sure to leave you all begging for more!

Having had many huge releases with Second to None Music we are very excited to have Sketchi joining us for this takeover! With his huge remixes from artists such as Wiley and D Double E, along with his own productions, this young artists future looks very bright!! His set will not be one to take lightly! Get your gun fingers at the ready for this one!!

MC Pean is rapidly becoming one of the hottest young MC’s on the circuit. Building upon his Hip-hop roots, Peanie-man’s lyrical ability has seen him soar through the ranks of the Leeds Underground and establish himself as a mainstay on the Drum and Bass circuit.
