Training Walk 2 - Edale Circular/Mam Tor

ANYONE WELCOME!!! - Bring friends, family and dogs - Membership of JCI not required!

This walk is an absolute classic! Set in the rolling hills of the peak district. Details for how to join us are as follows:

We will be meeting at Edale train station between 10-10.15am with a view to setting off at 10.25am - to get there you can either hop on the train from Manchester Piccadilly. There is train that departs at 9.22am that gets you in at 10.08am - this is the one to get! - you can purchase ticket here >>> https://www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/combinedma... Alternatively you can drive in which case there is car park next to the station, on Edale Road >>> Peak District National Park, Edale, Hope Valley S33 7ZP <<< If using an i-phone don't put in Edale Train station... it will take you somewhere else entirely. Use the Postcode or type in Edale Road. The car park is £5 for 10 hours. BRING COINS!!! The machines there are archaic.

The walk itself is around 12 miles in length, moderate difficulty and boasts some incredible views! As with all good walks we will finish at The Rambler Inn which is a fantastic post-walk pub behind the station <<< AN ESSENTIAL!!! 

KIT WISE - Good walking boots, Water Proofs, Lunch/Snacks, Water, Blister plasters, Selfie Stick, suncream and shades if it's sunny.
