Summer Party @ MHGC

WHAT'S ON

Following the MHGC Family Fun Day on 12th August which finishes at 5 p.m. (see posters online/social media) there will be a summer party to take place in the main marquee on the lawn. Complete with dance floor, bar & lighting the marquee will protect us from the elements and ensure the evening is filled with delicious food, cold drinks, fantastic music, entertainment & laughter.  The marquee is accessible via The Greens Restaurant where the buffet will be served.  Guests will be issued with a wristband on production of their booking confirmation. 

TICKETS

This event is open to all - you do not need to be a member of the club!  Tickets have been reduced from £15 to £10 however they are limited and sold on a first come first served basis so to avoid disappointment please purchase online & in advance. Tickets can also be purchased direct from the office in person or by emailing office@mhgc.co.uk.  Please check our socials for more info.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your ticket includes free parking, buffet, Tiddly Experience, Live Band & DJ/Disco 

FOOD

We hold a 5 star food safety hygiene certificate and we are working very hard to keep it therefore the buffet will be cleared as soon as the food is all gone or within 4 hours of service which ever is first.  If you have any known allergies please inform staff and include on your order form.  If you have any other special food requirements e.g. vegan/vegetarian please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

TIMINGS

The event opens at 7.30 p.m. for 8 p.m.

Buffet available from 8 p.m. 

Tiddly Experience starts @ 8.30 p.m. (to dancing & game show so bring your dancing shoes)

Live Music @ 9 p.m. with the Travelling Tiddlys 

Disco @ 11 p.m.

Last orders @ 11.59 p.m.

Music finishes @ 12.30 a.m. 

Event closes @ 1 a.m. 

Please leave quietly and keep noise levels to an absolute minimum in order that we can to maintain good relations with our neighbours.

TABLES

Just like the Hunt Ball you can reserve a table for your guests and guarantee them a seat at the summer party of the year!  Tables of 8 & 6 are available and will be allocated on a first come first served basis by calling the golf club office on 01646 697822 extn 1.  

LICENSING

The lower floor of the clubhouse is licensed to serve alcohol to the general public until 11.59 p.m.  This includes the lawned area where the summer party will be staged.  Golf club members only will be entitled to a 10% discount on production of their bar card.  Non-members are NOT permitted in the upstairs members lounge bar unless they have been signed in by a member of the club.  Entry into this event is not permitted to anyone under the age of 18.  Please bring I.D. on the night if you think you will need it.  

PARKING

Free Parking is available around the clubhouse building.  An overflow car-park will be made available if necessary and that will be in the practice field adjacent to the green-keepers shed in the top left corner of the main car-park.  Parking is at your own risk and the golf club takes no responsibility for any damage to vehicles on the premises.  Any vehicles left over night must be removed by 9 a.m. the following day.  The golf club strongly advises against drink driving - if you need a cab, please speak to any member of staff and they will ring one for you!

TOILETS

There is a ladies loo in the foyer of the main building, a gents loo upstairs on the left of the lounge bar and loos available in the ladies & gents locker rooms if needed.

GLASS

No glass is to be taken into the marquee.  Only disposable plastic glasses & plates will be available and should be disposed of in the bins provided.  Please do not litter anywhere on club premises.

GOLF COURSE

Ticket holders are not allowed onto the golf course, putting green, chipping area or any other area of the golf course e.g. mini golf course before during or after the event unless they are a member of the club and are participating in a game of golf or have paid green fees via the Pro Shop.  

MARQUEE

The golf club is liable for any damage caused to the marquee therefore all ticket holders are asked to ensure that their attendance at the summer party does not incur damage to either the marquee or any property belonging to or hired by the golf club this includes the outside bar, tables, chairs, lighting, heating etc.  The carpet is expected to incur wear on the night however we hope to use it again so please take care.
