THIS IS FOR....
....the dancers, the ravers, rebels & change-makers, ecstatic shakers, dreamers & seekers, contact improvisers, 5 Rhythm lovers, medicine movers, travelers, music worshipers, yogis and hippies, the lost, the found & the in-between…
This is an invitation to express through movement; a space with the freedom to let loose, where the body and the music lead the way.
Dancers respond to the music, musicians to the dancers; a co - creation happening in the present moment where we share the journey but with the freedom to be ourselves.
All is welcome, come as you are.

MUSIC AS MEDICINE - OUR VISION
Music As Medicine events celebrate the transformational power of music to heal, bringing us all together as one beating heart and bring us back to our authentic selves.
"Music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul.” - Plato
THE SYMBOL OF KUMBHA
In the context of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist mythology, the kumbha symbolises the womb. It represents fertility, life, sustenance & the generative power of human beings. The Kumbha is a water jug, a vessel associated with the zodiacal sign of Aquarius and is world renowned due to the Hindu festival, Kumbha Mela, the largest peaceful gathering in the world.
Our intention for this night is to create a container; a held space for connection and community through music and dance.
KUMBHA LINE UP
This session will be facilitated by Sophie Bolton, Ecstatic Dance practitioner and Yoga teacher.
Sophie will guide us into an ever evolving and shifting flow with musicians Damien Mahoney, Gavin Mullan & Nick Malin playing an improvised set of soundscapes on a global selection of instruments & percussion.
'The Order of Love' are a multi-instrumental three-piece. Their work focuses on intuitive, improvised sound journeying, rhythm, movement medicine, trance & tribal dance, mantra and medicine songs with an emphasis on heart-wisdom, healing and connection.
In association with BrightSky community.
Dedicated to the sharing of knowledge, wisdom, art and music.
