Set to make our E1 debut in January. Modern Funktion is bringing our first international booking, Dennis Quin.
Dennis is a regular studio partner of Kerri Chandler, heavily supported by BBC Radio 1 and legends like Kenny Dope and DJ Sneak, Dennis Quin was always one of Amsterdam’s best kept secrets. Now, arguably one of house music’s finest producers is claiming the spotlight he deserves with his recent addition to the PIV roster and the worldwide resurgence of house music. Hit releases on labels such as PIV, Moxy and Madhouse are only the start of a trail blazing string of EP’s lined up for 2021. The new generation of headliners like Prunk, Chris Stussy and Toman are now pushing Dennis Quin’s music.
The 15th January for our debut show at E1, we are bringing our first international booking, one of the finest house music producers, Dennis Quin!
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Quin has been supported by BBC Radio 1 aswell as legends like Kerri Chandler, Kenny Dope and DJ Sneak.
Becoming more and more well known in the house scene, he’s rightfully getting the spotlight he deserves through his hit releases on labels such as PIV, Madhouse, Moxy and many more.
We’re so excited to have him showcase his talents at E1.

Reopening Health Guidance
- Please do not attend if you have any symptoms, a cough, cold or feel at all unwell. There will always be another show.
- Please be thoughtful of others at all times.
- We have a high spec ventilation system that is checked every week.
- We have an extensive cleaning system in place.
- Anti-bacterial fluid will be freely available at easy to access points throughout the venue.
- All staff have their temperature checked before they start work.
- Please take advantage of our outside area throughout the show.
- We have plenty of hot running water and soap in the Toilets. Please always wash your hands for 20 seconds or more.
- It's been some since we've had you through our doors, and we're aware that many people will have turned 18 since the pandemic, so will have never experienced a music venue.
- Please look after yourselves and look out for your friends.
- On the week of the event, every ticket holder will receive an email about welfare.
- If at any time you feel unwell or vulnerable please contact our welfare who will be wearing a purple bib, or go to any member of staff and 'Ask for Angela'.

- E1 is a safe space for all to enjoy their night, no one should be harassed, made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
- Never accept a drink from anyone you do not know or do not completely trust.
- Don’t leave your drink unattended, even when going to the toilet.
- Be aware that if you’ve already been drinking, you may be less aware of any danger and therefore more vulnerable.
- Stay with your friends and consider very carefully whether you should leave the venue with someone you have just met.
