Under Construction – Virtual Student Scratch Night

‘Under Construction’ is a scratch night showcase of original theatre/performance works in progress, created and performed by University of Salford students, which have been adapted for an internal online space.

Students, friends and family: tune in to watch digital performances/script reads of Yellow Tights, A Work in Progress About a Psychic and a Stuffed Bird, Man Up Man Down and Sunny Girl, and give your constructive feedback to the creators in a safe chat room.

Come and support the future of theatre-makers!

This event is invite only. It is for selected invitees and students and staff of the University of Salford.

HOW TO WATCH

Invitees will receive an 'Under Construction' flyer with a link on. This link will go to an online platform called Blackboard Collaborate. Here, audience members can join an online "room" where the Scratch Night will take place. You will not need to sign in or sign up to anything. In addition, audience members will NOT be asked to use a microphone or web camera in the room.

In 'Under Construction', each performer will present an extract of their piece, which will be watched by all on Youtube via a link, followed by a Q+A. Audience members are encouraged to give constructive feedback to each performance.
