For University Mental Health Day we have invited in Alumni Nick Sayce
Nick has worked in the Industry since he graduated from the Actor Musicianship program at Rose Bruford in 2005. He's worked in radio, TV , videogames, touring theatre, the West End and voiceover, thanks to winning the Carleton Hobbs Award in 2005. Nick's had his ups and downs, like most people in the industry but is happy to take them for the wonderful career choice.
In 2017, Nick experienced a particularly traumatic situation, which continued for over 5 years and both his physical and mental health could not have gotten any worse. But having experienced the worst, having made choices to fix these issues and very much succeeded in doing so, Nick feels he has a lot to share about his experience and the choices he made in the hopes that it could help anyone who unfortunately suffers similar experiences.
Please come along, listen and ask any questions you may have, all are welcome!
