Join 100+ singles for a laid-back Friday night above Leeds — with skyline views, good drinks and conversations that happen naturally.

Hosted by Secret Social, this isn’t formal speed dating. There are no awkward rotations, name badges or forced matches.

It’s simply a rooftop full of single people who are there for the same reason: to meet people in real life.

Come alone or bring a friend. Plenty of our guests arrive solo, and our dedicated female and male hosts will be there to welcome you when you arrive and help you settle in.

If you need a wingman or wingwoman, want us to introduce you to someone, feel a bit awkward approaching a group, or just want somebody friendly to chat to while you find your feet — come and find us.

We’ll be circulating throughout the evening, making introductions and helping bring people into conversations. The aim is to create a friendly, sociable room where nobody has to feel like they’re standing on their own.

A balanced singles event

We carefully manage ticket allocations to create as even a mix of men and women as possible.

Exact numbers can vary slightly due to cancellations and no-shows, but maintaining a balanced room is a priority when tickets are released and throughout the booking process.

Need an icebreaker?

Sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing what to say first.

We’ll have a selection of optional conversation prompt cards from We Met At A Bar available throughout the evening.

Grab a card with someone new, use one with a group or completely ignore them — there’s no structured game and no pressure to take part.

They’re simply there if you fancy an easy way to break the ice and get a conversation going.

Our hosts will be around throughout the night, so whether you need an introduction, a confidence boost, a wingman or wingwoman, or simply someone familiar to come back and chat to, you’ll always know who to find.

Your safety matters too

Our female and male hosts are also there as a visible welfare point throughout the event.

If another guest makes you feel uncomfortable, something doesn’t feel right, or you need support for any reason, please speak to either host or a member of the event team.

You don’t need to make a fuss or explain yourself in front of anyone. Come and talk to us privately and we’ll help.
