Kupid the King performing Lost Boy: the Album live in concert with Music ‘til Midnight hiphop-soul backline band!
The evening will include performances from The Midlands freshest rap band Rais at Night (fronted by Birmingham’s Tarju Le’Sano & Wolverhampton’s Ayy), conscious lyricist Infamous Dimez, West Bromwich born R&B power vocalist Priscilla Cameron and the man himself, Kupid the King alongside Coventry’s Hiphop-Soul backline band Music ‘til Midnight.

Kupid the King
Kupid writes from a familiar perspective of all these situations and insists on staying true to himself while accepting that he is not the only one who has been faced with struggles.
“If you say that I'm troubled, yeah, I'm troubled as they're made, see my trouble tells a story of the struggle that they made, the troublesome I am is from the trouble that they made, so the trouble tells a story of the struggle that's in me.”
Kupid's songs include recitals of true experiences of love, heartbreak, trust, betrayal & mental breakdowns among family, friends and acquaintances and triumph, written in a way that is personal to him and yet relatable to so many others. He has also been known to write about his view on the state of the world and the community he was raised in, an opinion formed from the strength of many years of modest research, an interest in humanity and a range of extensive case studies from children and adults that he has crossed paths with and spoken to.
Priscilla Cameron
Kupid & Priscilla met in 2007 whilst working creatively as mentors in Tonia Daley-Campbell's, Kuumba Arts Movement. Kupid and Priscilla clicked instantly and started creating, writing and recording music together. In 2008 they formed Kolossal Entertainment and hosted 1MiK:Stand at Newhampton Arts Centre! The show sold out and Kolossal Entertainment continued to perform for many years all over the country and club nights and music events.
When deciding who to have as support acts it was instantly decided that Priscilla Cameron was the ideal support act to bring the essence of nostalgia beautifully balanced with a fresh RnB energy, supported by the amazingly talented Becca Taylor & friends.
Infamous Dimez
Whilst planning the headline concert Kupid & T33K1D were thinking of artists who are versatile with their style and also share a message through their music. They quickly decided that Infamous Dimez would be the perfect candidate for this concert.
Kupid first saw Dimez perform at Sophielou's headline show at Prince Albert Wolverhampton and was impressed with the way Dimez put together a set with a great mix of conscious lyrics and grimy beats.
Rais at Night
2018s freshest rap band featuring Tarju Le’Sano, Ayy & Dejuan Markland. The band was formed to perform at the Future Bubblers Showcase to Giles peterson and a London audience.
Following Rais at Night's debut performance at Future Bubblers Year 3s Go Live Showcase, I chose them as the perfect supporting act to prepare the crowd for the final spectacle!
