ASR Promotions Presents: Progress + Support

Progress is a rising Bristol-based trio made up of Will Freeston (25, guitar & vocals), Aaron Grindle (19, bass), and Sam “Drummer” Thomas (19, drums). Formed in October 2024, the band brings a raw and melodic edge built on over a decade of songwriting from frontman Will, who moved to Bristol with the intention of turning his musical vision into something real.

Following a few casual jams, Aaron suggested they form a band — and after a few months of refining their lineup, the addition of Sam on drums locked in the final form of Progress. Since February 2025, the trio has been solidifying their sound with a clear sense of direction, energy, and purpose.

Now ready to bring it live, Progress make their stage debut at Exchange Basement, supported by Les Joy, Avicide, and more.
