Reality Behind Creation : A Personal Exploration

Join us for an enlightening discussion exploring the mystery behind creation, and how each individual can connect to it in our everyday lives.

As we navigate what seem to be increasingly busy and fast paced lives, where do we find time to answer our underlying existential questions? And how can we each, as individuals, gain a direct understanding and experience of the reality behind creation?
Setting out to address these questions and more, the evening will include presentations from leading minds in this field, drawing upon scientific knowledge and their own personal experiences. A Q&A session with an open discussion will follow, and enchanting mystical music will be provided throughout by the Soveida Ensemble. Their music is based on ancient rhythms that help to bring the listener into contact with their heart.
Tickets cost only £5 and all profit will go to charity.
Arrive early to get a good seat!

SPEAKERS

Jay Lakhani Studied Quantum Mechanics under Sir Roger Penrose and is the first Hindu tutor at Eton College. He has explored in his TED talks entitled: 'Challenging the paradigm of Materialism'  and 'Spiritual Humanism' the cutting edge discoveries of science which point to a reality that can best be described as spiritual rather than material in nature.

Mehrdad Noorani has explored different spiritual & esoteric paths throughout his life; as a result, he has studied Gnosticism for the past 20 years under the guidance of a renowned Gnostic Spiritual Master. He currently teaches Heart Meditation workshops based around the 'Alchemy of Inner Silence', with students throughout Europe and the US. He is especially interested in bridging science and spirituality and creating a link between the East and the West.

The Soveida Ensemble brings to you an ancient and long since forgotten form of music, originating from the middle east and performing on some of the oldest instruments created by man, including the Tanbour, Setar, Tar, Daf, Tombak and Ney. This style of music is a rendition of ancient Gnostic sacred rhythms that have been passed down from one generation to another, from master to student, over thousands of years, and form part of a Gnostic spiritual exercise of creating an ever-deeper inner emptiness, as a means of journeying to one’s essence, or soul.
