Hector Bizerk

2015 has been a momentous year of progress and evolution for Hector Bizerk. The band have toured internationally and made great stride in U.S. while simultaneously developing their unique brand of experimental hiphop.

The Tree That Never Grew EP is the final instalment of four releases themed around the
Glasgow coat of arms. The EP is a signal of the bands intent to continue to surprise listeners
and develop a wide and varied repertoire.

In 2014 Hector Bizerk’s self released album Nobody Seen Nothing was nominated for
Scottish Album of The Year Award. The band purposely used the momentum of that success to push the boundaries of their creativity even further and embarked on an artistic journey to
release new material every 12 weeks for a year.
The result of which is four EPs, an ode toGlasgow’s famous Coat of Arms. The Tree That Never Grew is a 5 track EP released on Walk Tall Recordings.

Support comes from Spring Break who were the winners of Best Hip Hop at the 2015 Scottish Alternative Music Awards and performed at the likes of Belladrum Festival, T in the Park, Gentlemen of the Road and Loopallu last year.
