Get ready for another round of meeting, mingling, and making magic happen because on Thursday the 18th of June, we are taking over NOHO again(!) for another night of 100+ singles, with our friends at Matchbox helping us ease those (occasionally) awkward first steps. Last time was a blast, and we cannot wait to repeat the experience again.

Matchbox is a site that uses relationship science to pair you with 3 compatible singles at the party. It works by using a short but thorough questionnaire to find who in the room you align most with.

🔥 The Matchbox Format

How it works:

1. Upon arrival: scan the QR code at the door and answer a 60-second questionnaire built by Matchbox’s Team of Relationship Scientists and curated by your Host.
2. While you mingle, sip, and flirt, the Matchbox Algorithm quietly works behind the scenes, combining relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics, to find your most compatible matches.
3. Throughout the night, you’ll receive a few playful clues via SMS or WhatsApp to help you narrow down who your match might be. To find your match, open your match reveal page and tap “Message Your Match.”
4. You will receive 3 matches throughout the night! That’s when conversations turn into connections… and maybe a little more.
5. Your 2nd and 3rd matches could be anywhere in the room!

The flow:

→ 6:30pm — Doors open

→ 8:00pm — Questionnaire closes and 1st Group Drops

→ 1st Match Revealed

→ 2nd Group Drops

→ 2nd Match Revealed

→ 3rd Group Drops

→ 3rd Match Revealed

→ Activity finishes: Continue the convo or meet someone new

→ 12:00pm — The event closes.

✨ What to Expect

• You’ll meet a great group of singles.
• Your match is designed to be values-aligned, not love at first sight.
• There’s zero pressure — be curious, have fun, and be kind.
• If there is an imbalance, you may receive a platonic match.
• You’ll get Matchbox event updates from a dedicated phone number during the event.

Q: What if I don’t get a match? A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio, but we cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up. Life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, within the next 2 months of the event.

Q: What if I need to leave earlier? Please let the host know about your departure so you can be checked out from the activity.
