Mates Rates Comedy is proud to present Comedy at The Pheasant with headliner Darius Davies

The show will take place at The Pheasant on Saturday 8 October between 7:30pm and 9:30pm (door open 7pm). 

This month we are headlined by Darius Davies with support from some of the hottest new acts from the circuit!

Darius Davies

Darius is a seasoned performer first cutting his teeth in 2007 in the comedy clubs of New York city. Success quickly followed as Darius won an MTV New Talent contest, opening the door for Darius to strut his stuff on MTV america. Alas due to “visa irregularities” Darius soon found himself back, and uncelebrated in London.

Certain that success would be just as swift, Darius launched himself on the UK comedy scene. In the blink of an eye (four and half years later) Darius found himself gigging regularly up and down the country entertaining the crowds with his high-energy, captivating, and hilarious tales.

Katharyn Henson

Katharyn began doing stand up comedy in New York City where she worked her way to regularly hosting and performing nightly throughout the five boroughs. She has been seen regularly at venues including but not limited to New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, The Stand, and The Comic Strip as well as countless backs of bars, windowless basements, rooftops, and bathroom stalls.

Currently based in London, Katharyn MC's and performs regularly at Top Secret Comedy Club, Vauxhall Comedy Club, Up the Creek among other clubs, dives, and holes-in-the-wall throughout the UK.
