A fun, social night of hot takes, open conversation and meeting new people
Welcome to Hot Takes Night, a fun, interactive evening where brave Londoners step up to the microphone to pitch their most unpopular opinions.
Everything’s on the table, from dating rules and pop culture drama to food crimes and everyday pet peeves.
Each speaker will have a few slides and 5 minutes to try and convince a room full of strangers that their rogue opinion is actually correct.
We’ll do a quick show-of-hands vote at the start and end of each talk to see if anyone in the room actually changed their mind.
The audience is very much part of the night. You’ll be able to react, challenge the speakers and chat with people around you throughout the evening.
It’s part comedy night, part friendly debate and part after-work social. Whether you come alone or with friends, it’s a relaxed way to meet people and break up your week.
Where: Amersham Arms
When: Tuesday 4th August
Time: Doors open 6:30 PM for drinks and socialising. Talks start at 7:30 PM.
General Admission tickets are for the audience. Most people will be coming just to watch, listen and get involved in the room. Secure your spot and expect a good night.
If you’ve got an unpopular opinion you’re dying to share, you can volunteer to speak.
