Friend of Frankie: Friend of Franky is an ambient alt-rock band based in Brighton. The five piece have been making progressive moves to claim their place in Brighton's eclectic music scene; fusing expressive lyrical cascades with dynamic instrumental melodies to divulge their alt-pop/rock roots. The band are excited to explore themes of queerness, mental health, heartbreak and gender identity, as Friend of Franky envelopes new genres.
The Usual Boys: As much inspired by the dirge of the Berlin club scene, as by the angular sound of 80s Post Punk; The Usual Boysʼ sound is characterized by janky guitars and driving bass lines which underpin a dark post Ironic take on a seemingly unending ascent into adulthood.
Sansom: Sansom is a rock artist and band born in Brighton, UK. Previously releasing under Edward Sansom, the solo artist and producer has stream-lined his name to just SANSOM to reflect a new momentum. SANSOM delivers a dark tension in his verse, with a depth in his lyric, which evolves into a floor filling chorus. The charged sound is reminiscent of bands like QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys, Foals. With SANSOM sharing Bowie as an inspiration.
SANSOM showcases a raw and honest performance in his work and the songs are driven forward by gritty guitars and anthem-like choruses.
Breaking out of his hometown and onto prestigious festival line ups such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Camden Rocks. SANSOM has been a featured artist at the Great Escape Festival and BN1 Festival as well as Track of the Day placements on the local BBC Introducing show on BBC Sussex / Surrey radio. Further airplay internationally on RTE2XM.
Milky: “SANSOM has spent the last few years honing in on his signature sound, arriving at his own distinct realm of alt-rock. “
