QuAC Presents- Queer Con is a festival celebrating queer voices, art, and community vibes for all of Manchester!

QuAC Presents: Queer Con — A Day-to-Night Celebration of Queer Creativity

Join QuAC (Queer Art Community) for its inaugural event, QUEER CON, a full-day, multidisciplinary celebration dedicated to showcasing the immense, often overlooked, talent within Manchester's LGBTQ+ creative scene. Our mission is to create an inclusive and accessible platform for emerging queer artists, performers, and voices.

1. Daytime Market & Talks (12 PM – 6 PM)Experience a huge curated art market featuring over 25 local artists and independent vendors. Shop for visual art, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, zines, and unique independent designs. The daytime programme will also include live table reads, conversations with artists, and panel discussions with sex educators. THIS IS FREE TO ATTEND 

2. Industry Panel Q&A (6 PM - 8 PM)

We have industry professionals at the peak of their careers, Singer and Songwriters, Drag, Authors, Actors, and Circus Performers, removing the gatekeeping from their respective industries and sitting down to talk about their own careers, sharing tips and tricks of the trade on how they reach their heights and taking audience questions.

2. Evening Variety Show (From 8 PM)The venue transforms into a high-energy variety show spotlighting some of Manchester’s most exciting queer performers. The lineup includes drag artists, musicians, comedians, and cabaret acts. We are even thrilled to feature Lill from RPDR performing. The evening aims to be a spectacular display of creativity, fostering community connection in the heart of the Village.

All wristband holders will also be able to grab a pizza and pint from Nell's Pizza @ Kampus for just £8 from 12-8pm!
