On Friday 26th September we are re-opening the club for our first Friday event of the new term - headlined by UK Garage/Bass don MPH & Sammy Virji, Four Tet & Skrillex collaborator Champion.
MPH is at the forefront of the new wave of UK Garage, making an impact on a global scale. With releases on some of the world's biggest labels, he’s become one of the most exciting and versatile producers in dance music. His productions have even caught the spotlight on the world stage, with an official remix of Calvin Harris’s 'I’m Not Alone' , topping the charts this summer.
On the live front, MPH has already smashed headline tours across the UK, Australia, and the US— and most recently appearring on DJ Mag HQ — alongside huge festival sets at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Parklife, and more. Backed by heavyweights like Disclosure, Skream, Floating Points, Interplanetary Criminal, and many more, MPH is quickly cementing his place as one of the genre’s brightest stars – and this is just the beginning.
In electronic dance music, consistency in creativity and innovation remains king. There are few artists over the years that have stayed planted at the forefront of so many different eras of UK underground music than the one and only Champion.
Maintaining the balance between mainstream success and underground affiliation is always a difficult path, but is one that Champion has trodden with relative ease, having collaborated with the likes of Sammy Virji, Four Tet, Skrillex & many more.
With a rich catalogue of multi-genre originals and remixes, CHAMPION has maintained his legendary status whilst also keeping his sound as forward thinking as ever.
