About the venue: An Asian-inspired cocktail and small-plates bar on the second floor just off Chinatown, rated 4.3 from over 800 reviews and mid-priced. Note the opening pattern: it is closed Monday and Tuesday and opens at 5:30pm from Wednesday, so a Wednesday or Thursday event works but earlier in the week does not. Happy hour runs 5:30pm to 7:30pm, which overlaps the start of a 7pm event.

Getting there: The 505 Dundas streetcar stops at Dundas St W and Huron St, essentially outside the door — about a minute's walk. The nearest subway is TMU on Line 1, seventeen minutes east on foot, so the streetcar is the sensible approach; St Patrick station on Line 1 is also within a short streetcar hop. Parking in this stretch of Chinatown is limited and mostly on-street, so transit or a rideshare is the easier arrival.
