CSP14 (May 2014): https://vimeo.com/96205598The City Sound Project festival is Canterbury's leading music festival. Spread over 13 stages throughout the city, one wristband grants access to all stages/venues throughout the May Bank Holiday Weekend. With performances from the leading up-and-coming musicians in the UK, covering every genre from acoustic to bands to electronic music; this year's festival also includes spoken word & poetry from the wonderful people at the Wise Words Festival.
As well as many of the city's leading bars/pubs/live music venues, this year we are also adding three 'Heritage Venues' in addition to the beautiful Secret Garden - a hidden retreat within the city centre. With musical and poetic showcases throughout the festival, our Heritage Venues are the Westgate Hall (est 1899), the Franciscan Chapel (est 1244) and the Westgate Towers themselves (est 1380).
