Nottingham quartet Do Nothing will return home for a special headline show at The Bodega on 8th March!
Do Nothing are an art-rock band from Nottingham. Equal parts taut post-punk and off-beat new wave, the 4 piece have been compared to Parquet Courts, Interpol, Ought and Grizzly Bear. They released their debut single "Waitress" in early 2018, and have played in support of Willie J Healey and Kagoule in the UK, and Baby In Vain in Europe.
Their second single "Handshakes" was unleashed in late 2018 and immediately caught the attention of Spotify bosses, adding them to "New Music Friday UK", "Hot New Bands" and "The Indie List", gaining the track over 80k streams in the space of a month.
Underpinned by the distinctive lyricism of frontman Chris Bailey, Do Nothing are quickly becoming a word-of-mouth buzz in the city and further beyond too. Packed out rooms have made the band an exciting live prospect, drawing big numbers to their recent single launch at The Old Queens Head in London and in Nottingham at festivals such as Hockley Hustle and Beat The Streets.
