The longtime bonds of friendship and shared music-making between multi-instrumentalists Ross Ainslie and Ali Hutton, dating right back to boyhood, dynamically underpin their recent
two-album project, 2016’s exquisite, acoustic-based Symbiosis, and the
rich panoramic soundscapes of 2018’s Symbiosis II. Merging material from
both, their line-up here includes Ross Wilson (Blue Rose Code), Fiona Hunter, Paul Jennings , Duncan Lyall , Martin O'Neill, Jenn Butterworth and a hand-picked string section helmed by Patsy Reid with Greg Lawson, Megan Robertson Henderson and Seonaid Aitken Music.
