Lisa Curry is an internationally touring comedian and TV writer whose career began as part of Second City Hollywood’s house improv ensemble (alumni include: Mike Myers, Steve Carell, Tina Fey). In May of 2018, she was the first American invited to perform at the prestigious Mach Comedy Festival in Machynlleth, Wales, where she sold out her solo show. Lisa has worked as a creative on ad campaigns for both Amazon and Comedy Central and was recently profiled by PBS for their series, “Angeleno”. She has also written for Mtv, Fuse, and TruTV, where she wrote for their hit show, 'Comedy Knockout'. Her work is best described as smart, dark and deeply personal.

On Saturday 1st of June Lisa is recording her newest album for independent release. We're super excited to have her along for this one off show.

Hosting the evening, we'll have our resident mc Alex Oliver. Alex has worked for the last 7 years a stand up comedian. Having performed 3 shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and reaching the finals of numerous national comedy competitions including the Chortle Student Comedy Award, Brighton Squawker award and Hot Water New Comedian of the Year (runner up), as well as winning East Coast comedian of the year. As well as that he has also featured on Helen Lederer's (Absolutely Fabulous) award nominated, 'Knock Knock' podcast.
