About the venue: A Brazilian steakhouse rated 4.5 from more than 5,600 reviews — the most-reviewed venue in the entire set — and the only one in the top price band. It closes at 10pm Monday to Thursday. Being a full-service restaurant rather than a bar, it suits a seated event better than a standing one, and the price point is materially higher than anywhere else on the list.

Getting there: The venue is on Old Country Road in Carle Place, in the middle of Nassau County. Carle Place LIRR station is an eleven-minute walk and puts Penn Station and Grand Central within about forty minutes — so this venue genuinely draws from Manhattan as well as Long Island. One caution from reviewers: Carle Place has only around ten parking spaces, so anyone driving to the train should use Mineola instead, which has a garage. The venue itself has its own car park.
