The After Dark: Reading's Best Kept Secret.

This September we are starting with a bang...We are launching After Dark Roots! Events solely dedicated to live music at the After Dark.

Tonight we have Launch Night: 3 exciting bands performing from 7.45pm to 11pm with a club night straight after

Doors open at 7.00pm, and free entry until 7.45pm!

Bands kick off at 7.45pm - and we have a great selection for you:

•Ninteen Thirty Nines

An alternative post-pop group based in Reading (Berkshire). The band is inspired by Rauchenberg, 60's RnB, 70's Glamrock, 80s post-punk, 90's indie and all great song-writing mavericks.

•The Midnight Rambler

A name taken from a Rolling Stone song and the 1969 movie. A band inspired by Southern Fried Electric Blues and their latest album titled "Tales from the Night shift" is out now!

•Edgar and the Ravens

Taking centre stage for the Launch of AD Roots we have an exciting alternative act: Edgar and the Ravens! Based in Reading, this band takes inspiration from the darker side of rock. Both originals and covers, their influences include Soundgarden, NIN, Velvet Underground, Radiohead and many more.

FYI After the event, all guests obtain free entry to our Neon Saturdays Club Night 11pm - 2.30am where DJ Misty will be playing top tracks from the 90s and 00s genres of Indie, Rock, Pop, RnB and many others.

Entry is £5 online (+ fees) and £6 on the door.
