Jordi Alkema Live At The Folklore Rooms

Come and enjoy a night of phenomenal music at Brighton's most beautiful live music venue! Featuring intimate, acoustic performances from three immensely talented singer songwriters, Jordi Alkema, Alice Geary and Jack Foz.

Jordi is fresh off the back of a sensational performance at the Great Escape Festival as well as the release of his latest single, Hey Sunshine. Brighton native Jordi Alkema unleashes his unique brand of gothic folk-rock with nothing more than his voice and a battered acoustic guitar. The passion in Jordi’s music has been a defining feature of recent gigs in the UK and US. There’s a powerful intimacy in Jordi; an artist who draws the audience into his private space and plays like they’re the only ones there.

Alice Geary is another fantastic Brighton based artist with a sensation voice. Alice will be performing stripped back acoustic versions of her music including songs from her most recent EP, 'Have I Said Too Much?'

Jack Foz is a London based artist with an incredible energy. With influences from Sam Fender, Jacks songs tackle serious subject matters disguised behind a veil of happy sounding indie-rock bops . Having performed twice for Down The Lanes Events before, we are delighted to have him back on the South Coast!
