A Culture Of Our Own 004: On October 4th, we return to The Golden Fleece, Nottingham for the next chapter of our exploration of rave culture. This night is about stripping things back to the roots and celebrating the raw energy of rave culture. No frills, no gimmicks—just a dark room, heavy sound, and a community that knows why we’re here. 

For this edition, we’re showcasing a top-tier lineup of Midland-based selectors, mixing things up with some surprising back-to-back pairings. Expect a journey through old-school rave spirit, blending breaks, techno, jungle, and everything in between. Hosted by locally certified Will Mayze, who for one night only picks up the mic again... This isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about preserving the essence of what an authentic rave feels like: underground, intimate, and driven by the music.
