The Ordinary Boys are back with a brand new record and a massive twenty five date tour, joining us at Brixton Jamm for their only London show, to showcase their new offering, as well as treating you to some of the hits.
The Ordinary Boys’ new album, ‘Real Life’, sees the band returning to their roots, after rediscovering the old punk and ska albums that saw them pick up their instruments in the first place. Back to their original line up, plus the addition of Louis Jones of celebrated Power Pop band Spectrals, the band are looking to recreate the sound, energy and ethos of their earlier work like their debut album, ‘Over the Counter Culture’ and the follow up, ‘Brassbound’ that featured the band’s defining, ‘Boys Will Be Boys’. The boys have brought in some fantastic talent to help them make this latest album their best yet, including Rory Atwell (the Vaccines, Veronica Falls) and Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Lower Than Atlantis).
The band are hoping for this tour to recreate their early shows; energetic and unpredictable, so let’s oblige and make this show extraordinary.
