TFI Friday - Fun Nights Out For All! at Guanabara Brazillian Nighclub Covent Garden

Its Friday... lets have some fun. This venue is an established Saturday night favourite for our regulars.... lets mix it up and go on a Friday for a change - we can have longer happy hour & no door charge until 9pm!

We have reserved tables/area for us at the luscious Guanabara Brazillian Nightclub (Nearest Tubes Holborn/Covent Garden). Join us for a night of great company, fabulous drinks and amazing entertainment. 

We will be meeting & mingling from 6.30pm. Please arrive early for HAPPY HOUR which finishes at 7.30pm. You should arrive by 9pm latest for this meet as the door charge is £10 after!

After a couple of hours mingling/eating (food optional and extremely yummy) drinking in our reserved area, we will be hitting the dancefloor for a night of Brazillian beats & party entertainment. The music is a mix of South American/Samba/Mainstream tunes & Party Classics, something for everyone.

Please note: This is a PARTY... this means, loud music, lively and busy atmosphere... If you like intimate conversations and quieter atmosphere, this will not be your bag...please join us at one of our quieter events.

If there is one thing that Brazillians do just as well as waxing, football, & coffee, its partying! This event will be lively and noisy with the Brazilian Big Beat sound... Most of all it will be fun  & great for Salsa & Samba lovers, fans of latin American music & dancing, they also play mainstream up to date & disco classics... just great for anyone who just wants to have a good time on a night out!  

Please note that meetup fee does not include club entry, its free before 9pm, but £10 after 9pm (ouch!), so if you want to avoid, please arrive before 9.

The event is fully hosted between 6.30 & 9 pm which means you will be meeted & greeted by myself or another Flying Solo host, introduced to others and encouraged to Mingle.  We appreciate that meeting new people can be very nerve-wracking so myself and our regulars do everything they can to make you feel welcome and relaxed. I'll be on hand until around 10pm, after which I turn into a pumpkin but some members may stay on. The party will goes on until the early hours so bring your dancing shoes!

An uplifting session with our resident percussionist who will start of the night and get you into the right mood and prepare you to embrace the fun of your night ahead.

DJ D-VYZOR creates a great warm-up atmosphere to the night spinning Brazilian Grooves, Bossa Nova, Samba Rock and some Classic Funk & Soul.

HOW TO FIND GUANABARA:
Nearest tube Holborn/Covent Garden, Parker Street, London WC2B 5PW, next door to New London Theatre - War Horse.Please research your own way to find the place using Google maps or A-Z. I cannot be held responsible for people not being able to find places.

HOW TO FIND OUR AREA IN GUANABARA:
Please ask for our reserved area upon club entry, which will be booked in the name of TFI FRIDAY/FLYING SOLO. We have A4 plastic standup signs on our tables and they are there until at least 9pm.

 IMPORTANT INFO:
• Please bring photo ID for proof of age i.e. passport/driving licence for this meet - even if you look over 30/40 if you're lucky you may still be asked for ID, they are very strict on this
 • VERY IMPORTANT - If you do not arrive before 9pm there will be a charge of £10 to enter the club. This is in addition to the meetup fee. If you arrive after 9pm and there are queues, please go straight to the top as you will be able to queue jump if you say you are on Flying Solo's guest list.
 • When you arrive, you should use the Guanabara cloakroom for your coats as at 9pm the chairs are removed so there is nowhere to put coats. The cost is £2. 
• Please arrive before 9pm for this meet. Otherwise you will not receive the hosting and it may be more difficult to find us as we will be on the dancefloor or elsewhere
• Food is available at this venue. Please see Bar Menu/Food Menu for details, we can only order sharer platters at our tables, If you wish to have a meal you will need a table in the restaurant area. Tables are subject to availability, please check with staff when you arrive and pre-book as required. 

 • We do not guarantee M to F ratio for this event, but we will try. You can see who has said they are going to attend from the RSVP list. We normally get 75-80% of people who RSVP attending on the night and usually the ladies RSVP first and the gents much later on.
• Fee includes full time planning, administration & organisation costs, meetup site charges, marketting, hosts expenses, professional hosting fees. We think our events represent excellent value for money, but if you don't & are not happy with paying an meetup fee for the event please don't come to the party!   

• Please note that this is a PARTY! This means LOUD MUSIC and noisy busy atmosphere. If you do not like events with a lot of noise or busy, please join us at one of our quieter events!
• Dress code : SMART CASUAL, NO SPORTSWEAR, NO HATS, NO FLIP FLOPS
