OneLion Records Launch! This is a project that has been in the works for far longer than it should have taken, but at last time has come. We’ve built up a family through hip hop events and our aim is to offer a platform for the many talented artists that we have been lucky enough to welcome into that family over the last few years. We feel alot of the talent around us is sadly under represented in this area of the country. This event sees the launch of two separate releases from us. The Lion Tape Vol1 featuring tracks from nearly every hip hop crew in the SW! and D-Tox’s Half addict EP both of which will be available to download for free from the OneLion records bandcamp account and as direct download through our website.

D-TOX (HALF ADDICT - EP LAUNCH)

D-tox is nothing less than a one man rap machine, this guys doesn't have rhyme books he has library's. His hard hitting lyrics cover a variety of topics all revolving around an uneasy upbringing in the southwest and struggles with drug addiction and other often distasteful issues. This event sees him launch his debut EP making this the first chance to hear it in its entirety and grab the free download.

Incase you’re yet to find out about these mantis like men The Prophecy are one of Cornwalls premier hip hop collectives that bring a unique and funk filled flavour to their live performances. Going by the name of ‘South West Mind State.’ This collective of like minded individuals have been making some serious moves over the last year or so and will have an EP dropping on OneLion records in the near future. Like your hip hop a little darker? Syncromystics are a Plymouth based collective of rappers with a very niche and unique flavour to their work. Incorporating elements of ancient mysticism with a dose of modern day madness these guys delve deep into the world of the occult and beyond. After seeing these guys tear up the stage on many occasions we can assure you their live shows never disappoint!

The Outerclass is made up of two Southwest artists, Detax (the lyrical half) and Loop Faction (the DJ and producer). Having already released a highly acclaimed debut album ‘Crackdown’ in 2014, we've seen the pair tackle a range of hard hitting subjects helping to display Detax’s individual lyrical ability as well as the extent of Loop Faction's raw, crate digging MPC instinct. Just around the corner in 2015 the duo’s next planned release, 'Shapes of Consciousness EP'. is set to drop on OneLion Records.

Captain Cletus aka Kernel Mustard aka Seabass aka The Country Bumpkin.. What ever name you know him by, there is no doubting this guys intense lyrical abilities. When not steeling cider from the homeless or raiding your little sisters bbq cletus is currently still so underground we aren't sure if he's even found himself. But that’s all set to change in the next few months with the release of his debut EP on OneLion Records
