Shane Shambhu has created Confessions of a Cockney Temple Dancer which offers a funny, honest and engaging bilingual solo with an acclaimed team of collaborators.
Reflecting on his personal journey of growing up in East London and learning and performing Indian dance in the UK, Shane plays with the ways in which race, language, identity and culture have defined him. You'll laugh out loud as he practises his dance and imagines himself as 'Shane the Hero' behind a brick wall in the school playground.
