Shangri La Earth Day Tribute

22/04 People of York? Do you wanna dance? We’re hosting a soiree at Bluebox to celebrate our beautiful planet, on World Earth Day! 

Alongside the usual suspects, we’ve invited two top dogs who have been rattling bones with their sick tunes and wicked parties on the west coast. 

Ozone and Duck-E are the boss men of Hereafter who have had some heavyweight DJs play for them, and have steadily been rising the ranks in the Liverpool/Manchester scene. Look forward to their eclectic blend of genres and high energy play style! 

Plus we welcome back our very good compadre from Preston, Jake Whoo.

Jake is a Shangri La all-star who has released on our label and played for us in the past. His sound is unmatched, and his selections are wicked!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Shangri la party without the residents Dan Towers Brammers and Sam Hudson who will be throwing down their usual blend of tech house, techno, electro, UK garage and breaks. 

To top it off, a newcomer to the Shangri La roster and rising York talent D.A.L.B.Y is warming up the dancefloor with a nice dose of wonky minimal tech house.
