OPEN Presents: Fred Everything

On Bank Holiday Sunday, 3rd May 2026, OPEN continues its run of carefully curated underground house events with a special guest flying in exclusively from Montreal, Canada — Fred Everything.

A mainstay of the global deep house community for over 25 years, Fred Everything (Frédéric Blais) has built one of the most respected catalogues in modern house music, with more than 250 releases spanning labels such as 20:20 Vision, OM Records, Defected and Madhouse.

His productions move effortlessly between deep house, soul, jazz and musical storytelling, with standout albums including Under The Sun, Light Of Day, Long Way Home and No Way Home. Along the way he’s collaborated with artists such as Robert Owens, Atjazz, Shur-I-Kan and Lisa Shaw, while his remix work touches everyone from Dennis Ferrer and Derrick Carter through to Groove Armada and Jazzanova.

As a DJ, Fred has travelled the world many times over, playing institutions such as Fabric in London, Smart Bar in Chicago and Space in Ibiza, alongside festival appearances at Coachella, Piknic Électronik and Igloofest.

He also runs the long-standing Lazy Days Recordings imprint — a label synonymous with quality deep house since 2005, releasing music from artists including Atjazz, Shur-I-Kan, Ian Pooley and Crazy P alongside Fred’s own productions.

This May he joins OPEN for a rare and intimate UK appearance.

OPEN: Independent House Music

Since launching, OPEN has quietly built a reputation for bringing internationally respected house artists to Milton Keynes while keeping the ethos firmly rooted in underground dancefloor culture.

Previous guests have included Atjazz, Giles Smith (Secretsundaze) and Jimpster (Freerange Records) — artists known for musical depth, long DJ sets and dancefloors built around the music rather than spectacle.

That same philosophy runs through every OPEN event:
independent, community-driven, and focused on quality house music in an intimate space.

With Fred Everything stepping into the booth this Bank Holiday Sunday, the series welcomes another artist whose career has always reflected those values — timeless records, deep selections and a lifelong dedication to the craft of house music.

The Night

The evening begins with OPEN residents Ashley Roberts, Lee Clarke and Chris Brabrook, setting the tone before Fred Everything takes things deeper.

Expect a dancefloor built for the heads:
deep house, soulful grooves and timeless selections from one of the genre’s most respected selectors.
