DIWALI × FRIDAY THE 13TH

Diwali away from home can feel a little different. So we thought, what’s more festive than dressing up, heading out, and finding some new people to celebrate with?

And who says you need fireworks when you can be the pataka? 🧨 Pull out the Indian wear you’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear. Dress up, show up, and yes there’ll be plenty of time for pictures. We’ll start the evening at Chiya, where you can grab yourself a drink, meet the other strangers, get some pictures together and find out who you’ll be teaming up with for the night.

Then, we go chasing lights✨ It is Diwali, after all. You and your team will head out into Canterbury with clues to follow, challenges to complete and a few things we’re deliberately not telling you yet. And on a Friday the 13th? Maybe expect the unexpected!

But underneath all the clues, pictures and competition, this night is really about meeting people. Because festivals have always been about people, the ones we celebrate with, laugh with and somehow end up making memories with.

So come alone. Come with a friend. Come with your flatmate. You don’t need to know everyone in the room. That’s kind of the point.
