Autumn is the season when mushrooms become obvious in the woods and the meadows and during all our forages at this time of year you can expect to discover a fabulous range of fungi including Chestnut Bolete, Earth Stars, Charcoal Burners, Common Earthballs, Beefsteaks and Hen in the Woods.
The morning is spent with foraging expert and expert botanist Matthew Rooney who will lead the forage through ancient woodland near the village of Bures, nestled in stunning Constable country.
After a full morning's forage everyone drives five minutes to a local village hall where your foraged finds will be transformed into delicious lunchtime treats during a fascinating one hour cooking demo with plenty of tastings...
Tickets cost £75 which includes booking fees, a full two hour guided forage, the cooking demonstration and a fabulous Goodie Bag filled with recipes, a foraging calendar, and a selection of wild food products including
dried mushrooms, wild soup and sour dough bread.
