Children's Respite Trust Comedy Night

The Children's Respite Trust's Charity Comedy Night rolls into Eastbourne once again for a night of laughs on Friday 23rd September at Langney Sports Club and Eastbourne Borough Football Club Priory Lane, Langney, Eastbourne, BN23 7QH

Doors Open from 8pm and the comedy begins at 9pm. Tickets are just £10 to see some of the most hilarious funnymen in Sussex.

Dan Evens - Described by the Scotsman as 'Skillful and surreal' and by the Times as 'Original and inventive' Dan Evans has played clubs and universities throughout the UK. Dan has gigged in Holland, Germany, Dubai and Ireland as well as being part of the sell-out Avalon Comedy Zones at the Edinburgh Fringe. Dan's TV and radio appearances include Brain Candy (BBC3 & 2), Channel 5 Comedy Zone and the Radio 2 Stand Up Show.

Joe Foster - Joe was crowned 2015 South Coast Comedian of the year and has performed in the “Jam Comedy” at the Edinburgh Fringe. His straight forward anecdotal style makes him a funny and enjoyable addition to any bill.

Steve N Allen - Steve has been described as "very funny" by Time Out, "charming and witty" by Chortle and "likeable" and "very appealing" by the Comedy Café. He has appeared  on Chanel 4’s “The 11 O'clock Show ”, “The Big Stage” and “Live With... Chris Moyles” on Chanel 5, ITV’s “Take the Mic” and various radio appearances.

Kevin Knight - Kevin has entertained audiences at corporate gigs, festivals and comedy clubs for many years and performed at several Edinburgh Fringes.

Jim Grant - Resident compere Jim is a solid act and experienced mc. Jim has played clubs, corporate gigs and festivals, all over the U.K, Jersey, Canada and the U.S. Jim’s affable style and sharp wit is why he continues to be the compere of choice for the Children’s Respite Trust Comedy Nights.
